In Memoriam

The Indian shooting community has lost one of its greatest icons.

Jaspal Rana was one of India's most decorated shooters, winning multiple medals at the Asian and Commonwealth Games, including 15 Commonwealth Games medals and 9 gold medals. His extraordinary achievements earned him the Arjuna Award, Padma Shri, and later the Dronacharya Award.

Beyond his success as an athlete, he dedicated his life to nurturing future champions and played a significant role in the growth of Indian shooting.

The shooting fraternity of Maharashtra extends its heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, students, and the entire shooting community.

Rest in peace, Jaspal Rana. Your legacy will continue to inspire generations of shooters.
